Universal Music Group Administrative Services-West Coast, has taken many steps to incorporate sustainable practices at the Arboretum and 10 UCP. The following are just some of the measures that have been implemented: · Both buildings are now recycling 100% of all beverage containers · Arboretum & 10UCP pantries and commissary using 100% biodegradable containers, paper plates/bowls, utensils and unbleached napkins · Arboretum and 10UCP using 30% post consumer & 30% recycled content copy paper · UMG LA and IGA are using 100% recycled stock and soy-based inks for all stationary · 50% of all Arboretum and 10UCP centralized toner stock is remanufactured and 100% of all printer,...

August 22, 2009, from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 pm, HUDSON RIVER ECO REGGAE & WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL will present a day-long family-oriented event featuring well-known local and international Reggae, Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin and World Music entertainment with food and craft vendors as well as ECO workshops, children’s and art pavilions. “Our mission is to produce continuous quality events in order to provide an ongoing revenue stream, resources, and tools to support education focusing on sustainability and Green initiatives.” More information on this historic festival coming soon!
