Recently I had a conversation with KEN FRIEDMAN, part owner of THE SPOTTED PIG (alongside JAY Z, MARIO BATALI, and various others). KEN had mentioned that he was interested in converting the gas tank of his car to a vegetable oil friendly tank. This would be profitable for Ken 1. not having to spend money on expense gas anymore and 2. he’d always be able to get refills of vegetable oil being an owner of multiple restaurants with daily oil left overs.
