What JEEZY really meant to rap about with the release of his most recent album “THE RECESSION” is that his (our) president is GREEN. As a candidate, BARACK OBAMA promoted hybrid cars. Auto enthusiasts panned the design of the new presidential limo, which was painted all black as seen in its first sighting at the inauguration in January… though in reality its true colors are GREEN. PRESS PLAY and Read On… Shortly after taking the oath of office, Obama previewed the Mother of All Hybrids –part car, part truck and, from the looks of it, part tank… In keeping with recent tradition, the Secret...
Hip Hop artists don’t just smoke Trees. Famed for his membership in Strong Arm Steady, Los Angeles emcee PHIL DA AGONY (now under TALIB KWELI’S Label BLACKSMITH) is stepping out as one of Hip Hop’s first outwardly environmental artists, well other than our good friend KID CUDI. Phil’s upcoming solo sophomore release, THINK GREEN, could be easily mistaken as just a campaign for marijuana usage because that is what rappers do. But however, the eco-friendly release is actually pioneering a Hip Hop movement. On the album’s Talib Kweli-assisted title track, Phil declares, “I print my album on recycled paper, so you ain’t...

We’ve all seen them, the LOUIS VUITTON ads featuring the likes of CATHERINE DENEUVE, ANDRE AGASSI & STEFFI GRAF, & MICHAIL GORBACHEV in support of the Green Cross International and The Climate Project. They certainly caught our attention back in 2007. So we were INCREDIBLY impressed to find how deep Louis Vuitton’s committment and efforts have truly reached since then. In their recent report “Naturally Creative“, they take a moment away from their fast-paced industry of travel and accessories to sit down and reflect on how, as YVES CARCELLE, President of LOUIS VUITTON puts it, “simple actions make big differences”. Like any company starting down the sustainability...
Fading right into the BIG SUR landscape, this three-bedroom house is nearly INVISIBLE when viewed from certain angles. And that’s just how MICKEY MUENNIG, the mastermind behind the project, wanted it. The 74-year old architect kept the environment in mind when he designed the sod roof and seeded it with native grasses and wildflowers. The roof is part of a garden that starts at Cooper Point, Big Sur, and stretches out to the Pacific Ocean. What do you think? Would Bond live here? Read more HERE. HIT FROM: Inhabitat.com...

The Arizona sun is strong–so strong that one Phoenix man is using it to power up his motorcycle. RICHARD GRYZCH’S SOLAR FLYER MOTORYCLE, named after the Radio Flyer red wagon, has a 50 mile range and can supposedly top 90 MPH. The inventor is so sure of his bike that he sold a home and a number of other motorcycles to finance it. Take a look at these hot rod flicks while jamming to Def Jam sensation artist JEREMIH’S single “My Ride.” Gryzch doesn’t provide many details about the workings of the Solar Flyer, but the bike appears to have flexible solar...
