Welcome to our new website

Welcome to the launch of Green JAR. Green JAR is a media and social platform that encourages you to exchange ideas and concerns with respect to the environment. It is our goal to give you the latest and freshest take on news, events, initiatives, and products as they pertain to the environment. Walk through the site. You will notice that we have created a number of outlets for you to inform yourself about what is going on with our planet and just how much you have to do with it (despite you not realizing it at times)!!! To give you a heads up of what to look out for… You will notice that there is a feature article and a feature video at the top of the site. These spot light features will be rotational monthly features and will be fixed on the site throughout the month as our too hot to handle pieces of the moment. The feature video will always be a “Green Tip/Message” from an influential industry leader and revolutionizer (within their field) not afraid to give us that real talk about our role in the environment. Every so often, Green Jar viewers themselves that submit a message will be posted as a guest on our feature video section. In addition, you’ll find updated news releases daily, a forum for members to exchange thoughts on the environment where we encourage you to share ways in which you think we can make it cooler to care about our earth (Word On The Streetz), links to environmental organizations for you to Get Involved in, a Media/Art section where all feature videos will be posted, in addition to images, photography, art work that we think is “Green” (submissions are welcomed), and a Flavor section that will let you check out some emerging brands in addition to some old cats on the front of the eco-product game. If you ever have any comments and/or suggestions at all feel free to shoot us an email. And again, remember that this site was created for you to empower yourself. Now Open the Jar …

  4. YES YES YES. This is so important. It makes me sad to know that animals all over the world are becoming extinct. Anything I can do or information I can get to help conserve or help save the environment, I am all for it!!! Good work Jamie!!

  6. I was just now googling around about this when I discovered your post. I’m just dropping by to say that I really enjoyed reading this post, it is really well written. Are you going to blog more about this? It appears like there’s more material here for later posts.
