Once referred to as tree huggers, granola types, and hippies, the light cast on environmental advocates today is a much “cooler” hue. Caring about the state of our environment is no longer a leftist concern. It is a movement rapidly coming full circle, embraced by all sides and all people of varying backgrounds. KiD CuDi, a true tastemaker and genre breaker in the music industry, is proving to us yet again that he revolutionizes just about anything he touches. Of every industry out there, hip hop’s involvement in advocating environmental practices has had the greatest void despite the fact that it is a genre of music with the most powerful voice. CuDi sparks the issue up and takes a green hit in his latest youtube message:
